Head to the end of the sand bar past the shrine building and there's a cursed patch of soil that you can cure with Bloom magic to reveal a treasure chest. Drop down into the opening and you'll find a treasure chest that you can open for Holy Icon 7. If you do descend the slope, look around to its side to find a boulder that you can destroy with a Power Slice.
On the high ground in Shinshu Field, you'll also find the gate that you can pass through to descend along a steep slope toward a waterside shrine. Closer to the house itself, there's a weak point along the wall that you can blast for Masterpiece Part 1. Head toward the Pyrotechnist's house from there and you'll meet a Puppy on the bridge. You'll have to melt the ice that encases it using fire from one of the nearby torches. Drop inside to discover an underground cavern with a treasure chest that holds Masterpiece Part 5. On the high ledges near the suspension bridges along the edge of Shinshu Field, there's an area where you can find a hole in the ground.

Enter the cave there to find Holy Icon 4 in a treasure chest. Along that back rock wall, you'll find a weak point that you can blast with a Cherry Bomb. Elsewhere in Shinshu Field, cross the bridges so that you're on the side of the river near the high rock wall and lodges. Talk to it and give it directions to Yakushi Village for some easy experience points. If you warp to Shinshu Field, you can head to the entrance to Hana Valley and find a monkey roaming about. Skip to the next section of this walkthrough if you're not concerned with gathering items and completing side objectives.
